Evangelos Biscotakis, MD, DABOM

Dr. Evangelos Biscotakis is a Board Certified physician practicing Family Medicine in the Northwest Suburbs. With over 15 years of experience, he is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions and providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. 

He completed his Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of Illinois, Chicago. Earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, Netherlands Antilles and completed his residency at York Hospital in York, PA. 

Throughout his career as a Family Medicine physician he has earned multiple awards recognizing his outstanding patient care and satisfaction, while practicing healthcare in a holistic approach focusing on physical and mental well being. 

Dr. Biscotakis is committed and passionate about preventive medicine, treating patients of all ages with chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity.

He is Board Certified in Obesity Medicine and is particularly interested in assisting patients on their weight loss efforts. He formulates personalized, structured diet and lifestyle plans, utilizing all available resources and FDA-approved weight loss medications to help patients achieve their long-term health goals. His ultimate aim is to help patients reach and maintain optimal quality of life while fostering enduring relationships with them.

In his free time, Dr. Biscotakis enjoys cycling, outdoor activities, traveling, gardening  and spending time with his wife and two kids. 

He is fluent in Greek and Spanish.
