Mark A. Stefaniuk, MD

Dr. Stefaniuk has been practicing Family Medicine in the northwest suburbs of Chicago for nearly 15 years, caring for patients of all ages. Prior to his suburban practice, he worked as a physician in an Emergency Room in downtown Chicago for 9 years.

His medical background has given him extensive experience with an abundant spectrum of both acute and chronic medical conditions. Dr. Stefaniuk has continuously served in various committee and leadership positions within his former medical group. In 2022, he co-founded Pioneer Concierge Medicine with Dr. Pithadia.

After graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Dr. Stefaniuk completed medical school at Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles. He then went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency, training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. While there, Dr. Stefaniuk received various teaching and leadership awards.

Born and raised in a tight knit Ukrainian community in the suburbs of Detroit he spent his youth camping and playing various sports. Dr. Stefaniuk and his wife Tunia have been together for over 30 years. They have six children and two dogs.

As has always been his goal, Pioneer Concierge Medicine affords Dr. Stefaniuk the opportunity to provide an extraordinarily personal, detailed, and comfortable experience for his patients. He helps them focus their healthcare journey on physical and emotional wellness, as well as the prevention of chronic illness.
